After doing both their wedding and their maternity photos, I was thrilled to meet Katrin’s and Mo’s 3 week old baby boy Elias!

I’ve photographed Andrea and Jörg and their family a couple of times already and this year they wanted to take their two horses and their dog along for the ride as well. We headed out to the woods and enjoyed the autumn landscape.

After successfully tiring out little Alex we dedicated the last light minutes of the day to getting some quieter shots with their two horses.
Nachdem wir Alex mit dem Fotoshoot erfolgreich ausgepowert hatten, widmeten wir uns den beiden Pferden für eine Reihe schöner, ruhiger Momentaufnahmen.

I love maternity sessions. Especially maternity sessions that take me to London, GB! I shot Katrin & Mo’s wedding in Italy last year and I was so excited to visit them at home in London where they’re awaiting the arrival of their baby boy.
Babybauch-Fotos gehören zu meinen liebsten Session und umso mehr, wenn sie in London stattfinden! Nachdem ich im letzten Jahr schon die Hochzeitsfotos für Katrin und Mo in Italien schießen durfte, erwarten sie nun ihr erstes Kind zu Hause in London.

The english weather (cloudy and grey with rare glimpses at the sun in between) didn’t stop us from taking full advantage of the countryside around Amersham.
Das englische Wetter (grau und bewölkt, mit ein paar vereinzelten Sonnenstrahlen) konnte uns nicht stoppen und wir erkundeten die schöne Landschaft rund um den Stadtteil Amersham.

We took a stroll around their neighbourhood and got some wedding-inspired fun shots. Stephanie and Michael are so natural and fun-loving together and we had a great time!
Wir schauten uns also in der Nachbarschaft nach ein paar schönen Ecken um und hatten viel Spaß bei der Fotosession mit Schleier und Zylinder!

You may remember Judith and Markus from their maternity session in May.
Judith und Markus habe ich vor wenigen Wochen erst fotografiert, als Judith Fotos von ihrem Schwangerschaftsbauch im 9. Monat haben wollte.
Since then, they have welcomed their baby boy into the world and I was honoured to be one of Silian’s first visitors, a mere week after his birth!
Kurz danach wurden die beiden Eltern eines kleinen Jungen und es war mir eine Ehre, als eine der ersten Besucher Silian kennenzulernen!

Life with a newborn baby completely turns your world around. It’s equally wonderful and hard and Judith and Markus have adapted to the change beautifully. They are so relaxed and loving that I’m sure they’ll cope just fine in the sleep-deprived months to come.
Das Leben stellt sich bei Ankunft eines Babys komplett auf den Kopf. Es ist gleichzeitig wundervoll und unglaublich anstrengend. Judith und Markus nehmen die Veränderungen so gelassen an, dass sie die nächsten schlaflosen Monate ganz sicher gut überstehen werden.
This next photo is without doubt my favourite from the whole shoot. Can you see the resemblance? I sure can!

Judith and Markus are expecting a baby boy very soon. The canola was blooming so we picked a field and went right inside.
Ein kleiner Junge wird es sein, der in wenigen Wochen das Licht der Welt erblickt! Für die Fotos suchten wir uns ein wunderschön leuchtendes Rapsfeld.
Isn’t she beautiful at nine months pregnant?
Im neunten Monat strahlt Judith soviel Glück und Gelassenheit aus, dass es alle anstecken muss.
Not being a mother myself I find it fascinating and unbelievable that there’s a whole perfect little person inside that belly!
Immer wieder faszinierend und unglaublich dass in diesem Bauch ein ganzer, perfekter Mensch ist, der bald die Welt kennenlernt!
Some of my absolute favorites from this shoot. The wildflower field we found was the perfect place to get comfortable in.
Die schöne Wildblumenwiese war der perfekte Ort zum relaxen und diese Fotos sind meine absoluten Favoriten aus dem Shoot.
