spreading the word | zum auf den geschmack kommen

Simple, vibrant and heartfelt – that is my photography and what I wanted to convey through my new flyers as well.
I poured all my heart into making these and countless hours rearranging and reworking the layout – I am a photographer and not a graphic designer after all – but finally I closed my eyes and took the jump – and pressed ‚order‘.
Leuchtende, frische Farben und viel Herz – das ist mein Fotostil und das sollten auch meine neuen Flyer rüberbringen.
Lange habe ich gebastelt und mir den Kopf zerbrochen über das Design (ich bin ja nun Fotografin und nicht Grafikdesignerin) und irgendwann habe ich mir einen Ruck gegeben und auf ‚bestellen‘ geklickt.


Now that they’ve arrived I can’t stop looking at them with a big smile on my face. I can’t wait to hand these out and spread the word about my portrait photography and print shop.
Endlich sind sie da, meine neuen Flyer und ständig muss ich sie rausholen mit einem großen, breiten Grinsen im Gesicht. Ich freue mich schon so darauf, sie zu verteilen und meine Portraitfotografie und den Online Shop bekannter zu machen.

So ein Frühlingsspaziergang kann doch Wunder wirken und neue Energie in die wintermüden Knochen pusten.

Are you ready for spring cleaning? Bist du auch schon mitten im Frühjahrsputz?

The first warm, sunshiny days of the year have motivated me to blow the cobwebs off my website. A new look, new logo and new colors were in order as well as revised portfolios and texts. Now it feels so much fresher and more like me!
Die ersten warmen Sonnenstrahlen motivieren und es war an der Zeit, so richtig anzupacken und die Staubflusen von meiner Website zu pusten. Das heißt: alles auf neu! Neuer Look, neues Logo und neue Farben sowie überarbeitete Portfolios und Texte. Musste einfach sein und schaut direkt viel frischer aus.

I’m comfortable in my digital skin again and hope you like it too!
Ich fühle mich nun wieder richtig wohl in meiner digitalen Haut und hoffe, dir gefällt das Ergebnis ebenso gut!

Somehow I never got around to blogging this lovely family photoshoot from last October! The J. family wanted a photoshoot with their three grown children in a natural environment. We picked a gorgeous location, a tree nursery I have shot in before.
Irgendwie bin ich nie dazu gekommen diesen wunderschönen Familienfotoshoot aus letztem Oktober zu bloggen! Familie J. wollte Fotos in einer natürlichen Umgebung mit den drei erwachsenen Kindern machen lassen. Wir suchten uns eine tolle Location aus, eine Baumschule, die ich schon des Öfteren für Fotoshoots genutzt habe.



Family photos are a wonderful opportunity to create memories at any time – be it the full, short days with small children or the connection between older siblings.
Familienfotos sind immer eine schöne Gelegenheit, diesen Moment in der Familie als Erinnerung festzuhalten – das müssen nicht die schnellen, kurzen Jahre mit kleinen Kindern sein, auch die Verbindung zwischen älteren Geschwistern ist es wert, eingefangen zu werden.



How gorgeous is this whole family? They were a joy to have in front of my camera!
Manchmal hat man einfach hinreißende Kunden, die eine Freude sind zu fotografieren – sehen sie nicht toll aus?!




Simone and her fiance wanted some photos of just the two of them to use for their wedding invitations.

I’m getting quite wistful looking at all this green in these fall shots, hurry up spring! Thank you to the J family for your trust and for letting me boss you around this lovely location.
